Folks, just let this sink in for a minute. Someone is driving a Mitsubishi Galant RIGHT NOW that they just bought NEW from a dealer. I saw them. 15 minutes ago.
This is real. And it's disappointing.

These are probably the kind of people who go "it's a car" and think nothing more of it.

Sorry, that's not the newest MY12 Galant. But the fact that they bought one, is concerning in the first place.

I've got one MIRV left. Send me the coordinates.
Let me rid the world of this car.
Please?

It looks used. But maybe that's because even new Galant's look used.

I tried following him, but soon after I took this picture the silver Galant dissolved into the background and my eyes could no longer detect its presence.

It's 30.2500° North of complete ineptitude, and 97.7500° West of what the hell were you thinking? Elevation: Oh yeah, you weren't thinking.

This is a new car, as in a model currently being sold? Ugh.
Also, are those 14" wheels on a Galant? They look small.

Just looked on the Mitsubishi website, this is what a Galant should look like. I'm guessing that you saw a slightly used previous generation model? Or is the US version just that ugly?

Well, supposedly one exists with updated taillights or something exciting like that. But rest assured, I've seen this generation still somehow manifesting itself on a Mitsubishi new lot.

That's a used Galant. This is what a new Galant looks like; the rear fascia is the only refreshed part about it, as far as I know.
I wouldn't buy a Galant, but I've always liked the looks of the pre-refresh Galant Ralliart.

Weird, I replied to you with that info a minute ago but it disappeared.
The Galant did get a bit of a facelift for 2012 I belie.... wait what were we talking about?
In all seriousness though, I have seen this generation still sitting on dealer's new lots, so. Just a whole lot of what the hell going on here.

On the Mitsubishi Motors website, they have a wallpaper maker. You can pick car and then upload one of your pictures, or use a template, to generate an amazing wallpaper image for your computer.
I prepared this beautiful picture of an i-MiEV that looks like it might start rolling off to the left.

You are officially in a club of at least two Galant fans! That is, if the guy in the picture I took is aware that he is driving a Galant in the first place.
But like I told the other guy, I've seen this generation sitting on new Mistu lots in the past couple of months. How? Who knows. Maybe the dealers can't tell the difference. Or possibly they can't see them at all?

I always liked this generation Galant myself:

A guy I know bought a brand new 2012 galant last year. He was talking about what a great deal he got, so I really didn't have the heart to tell him he bought probably the worst mid size sedan on the market.

Oh man... I'm sure he did get a great deal. Poor guy.

It's not hard to imagine that a previous generation was left unsold on the lot, even after refreshes have come out. Not with this car. The person who bought it probably got an amazing deal.
